Agilyx Group is proud to announce a donation made to Catholic Mission Australia last Friday. Catholic Mission is a non-profit organisation, headquartered in New South Wales and focused on undertaking projects that help children and communities in need around the world. A highly valued Agilyx customer for over a year and a half, this inspiring organisation operates in over 160 countries to support initiatives which give people the opportunity for a fuller, more enriched life – physically and spiritually – regardless of race, stigma, religion or gender

Agilyx is honoured to have Catholic Mission as a customer and recognises this significant organisation’s vital objective of making a lasting difference to the welfare of those who may be disadvantaged for reasons beyond their control. In an effort to fully support this meaningful goal, illustrate how their values align with those of Catholic Mission and help create a tangible difference in our global society, Agilyx has chosen to donate half of their total donation amount to the education of youth in Battambang, Cambodia – specifically, Information Technology courses. The second largest city in Cambodia, Battambang suffers from an influx of college graduates and scarce job opportunities within their population of 200,000 people.

As a technology company, Agilyx is aware of the importance of having a younger generation that is IT-literate, especially in this day and age. These courses will be taught in English, one of the main international languages of business, adding another crucial element to the personal and professional development of those who take them. Agilyx hopes that these courses will supply the children of Battambang with a unique, valuable skillset that will help them while seeking employment - wherever that may be - once they are of age.

Agilyx has asked Catholic Mission to take the other half of the donated funds and apportion them to wherever they see fit as a testament to their full trust in the organisation to utilise this donation to the best of their ability. Agilyx is honoured to have Catholic Mission as a valued customer and to be a part of their remarkable and transformative work around the globe.
